After an week of torrential rain we were lucky enough to have the sun shining for New Hartley Summer Fair.

We had loads of support from the villagers and people from the surrounding area.  This year we had some stunning acrobatic displays from Tyneside Gymnastics Club. New Hartley First School choir performed a selection of songs they had been learning and Seaton Delaval Hall provided some additional fun with circus tricks.  Active Northumberland encouraged us all to compete in a village rowing competition. We had certainly beaten Seghill by the end of the afternoon.

We had all the fun of the fair with fairground rides, bouncy castles, the ever popular teacups and a bucking bronco, there were also plenty of giant size games for the children to enjoy.  Many small businesses and local charities ran stalls and had great results.

We’d love to thank everyone who took part in this event, without their support we wouldn’t be able to have such a great community event.
